Tarpan Mantra

1. What is Tarpanam?

According to Vedic beliefs, our ancestors will have a rebirth to continue their karmic duties or merge with the Brahman. But during the interim period they live in Pithru Loka. This is believed to be on the other side of Moon, which is exposed to Sun during the New Moon day. The Tharpan time is calculated as their Lunch Time and we make our offering to them with Sesame Seed and water. It is considered to be a principal duty of the Kartha (son) to feed them on these days.

2. Why use eVadhyar?

Non Resident Indians in several parts of the world have difficulty in performing Hindu Rites. The regular Purohit is quite far away or not available when you need them and the Kartha is not able to perform his duties to his ancestors. There are a number of recorded Tharpans available on the Internet, but unfortunately they are lacking in accuracy and efficiency. One has to find the proper Sankalpa and also write down the names and gothra to be used in between to complete the Tharpan. eVadhyar has formulated a process in which you get a prerecorded Audio with all your ancestral details embedded along with the right Sanklapa so that the entire Tharpan experience is quite smooth and satisfactory. There are perfect silent spaces provided for preforming Abhivathaye and to untie the Koorchams.

Evadhyar will also be bringing shortly Punyavachagam, Poonool Change, Avani Avittam etc. for your convenience.
